"DO WHAT YOU LOVE...LOVE WHAT YOU DO"
The Master Beader Program (MBP) is an innovative and adaptable instruction program for beaders structured around
three increasingly skilled levels:

  • The Apprentice level will teach the new beader those fundamental skills needed regardless of what type of beading you
    pursue.  You will learn the basics of stringing, knotting, how to use findings, how to choose materials, as well as the basics
    of color and design. Try your hand an peyote, herringbone, right angle weave, loom weaving, bead netting, chain maille, and
    more.  This level is designed to kindle your passion for beading!
  • As a Journeyman you will develop expertise in the techniques you learned as an Apprentice by experimenting with
    variations and working on increasingly more complex projects including wirework, polymer clay, precious metal clay, and
    felting.
  • At the Master level you will demonstrate your mastery of the craft.   You will also select advanced experiences from a variety
    of choices such as:
  • Designing and teaching your own class;
  • Research into the beading style of some historic period that you find intriguing;
